Order Parts

Please read the part order policy before placing your order:

  • Although parts are available for purchase by private parties, the purchase and installation of parts by an unauthorized repair shop or person will void the Manufacturer’s warranty and The SIGMA America will not be held responsible.
  • Certain parts will not be available for sale due to the complex level of replacement and special tools required for proper installation and adjustment.
  • The SIGMA America will not accept the return or exchange of any part that was removed from its original packaging.
  • Service Manuals, Diagrams and Parts break downs are not available for public distribution.
  • Parts availability is subject to the specific product service life.
  • Order processing time is 3-5 business days for the parts that are readily available in stock.
  • There is a minimum $10 processing fee for the orders that are less than $10 in value.
  • $10 shipping charge will be added to all orders.
  • We do not take orders nor ship any parts outside of the United States of America.
  • Some parts are available in full assembly and sub-assemblies will not be provided.

Please email the exact description of the product as well as the parts you need to parts@sigmaphoto.com.

Attach a few pictures of the product including the serial number of the item and a photo of the part to the email with your full name and shipping address.

You'll receive a reply to your email once the parts department confirms the availability of the part and you'll be provided with the final amount and a link to pay for the order.

Mount Conversion

SIGMA will convert the current mount of your Sigma Global Vision lens to another of your choice. SIGMA lenses currently from the Contemporary, Art, or Sports line, in SIGMA, Canon, Nikon, Sony, Pentax mounts can be converted to SIGMA, Canon, Nikon, Sony or Pentax*. Mirrorless lenses can be converted to Micro Four Thirds and Sony-E Mount. They cannot be converted to either an APS-C or a Full Frame format.

*Subject to mount, parts and service availability. Not all products are available in Pentax and/or Sony Mounts. Please check the specific product page to check availability in those mounts.

The conversion service will be handled by SIGMA in Japan so upon receipt, your lens will be sent to Japan to be converted to the desired mount and returned to SIGMA America, who will, in turn, ship it directly to you. The anticipated turnaround time for this service is four-eight weeks.

Rear Filter Holder

Chargeable installation service of the Rear Filter Holder FHR-11 for the SIGMA 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM | Art (for Canon) and the SIGMA 14mm F1.8 DG HSM | Art (for Canon).

The Rear Filter Holder FHR-11 is an accessory exclusively designed for the SIGMA 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM | Art (for Canon) and the SIGMA 14mm F1.8 DG HSM | Art (for Canon). It enables photographers to use a sheet filter on the lens. By attaching the Rear Filter Holder FHR-11 to the rear of the lens, it allows more freedom for photographic expression.

Front Conversion

To support the needs of virtual reality creators engaged in multi-camera videography, SIGMA is offering the new Front Conversion Service for the 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM | Art lens . With this service, SIGMA converts the petal-type hood of the lens to an exclusive round component that lacks a light-blocking function. The new front helps prevent the lens from interfering with other lenses or from casting a visible shadow during multi-camera work. This is a for-fee service performed exclusively by SIGMA. Use of the service has no impact on the validity of the product warranty.

Service Policies

Product Warranty
Beginning July 1, 2013, all brand new Sigma Products purchased from a USA authorized Sigma dealers are covered for 4yr USA warranty against defects in manufacturing and workmanship only. Your warranty period begins the day you purchase your Sigma camera, lens and/or flash and runs for a period of four years total from that date. (Please refer to the warranty policy included with your product or see the warranty registration page for each Sigma Product). Please note that the Sigma warranty is valid only to the original purchaser and is not transferable. When sending your Sigma product in for warranty service, please be sure to include  a copy of the original sales receipt as proof of purchase date (the start date of your warranty). Anything deemed beyond normal use will void any and all warranties.

Sigma offers a 90 day warranty for factory refurbished products.

Please register your new Sigma product in order to activate your Sigma 4 year warranty.

Gray Market
As of January 1, 2017, any product that is not imported by the Sigma Corporation of America or purchased from an unauthorized Sigma USA Dealer will not be serviced under warranty regardless of the service required. The Sigma Corporation of America Service department will service these products for a minimum $250 charge in addition to the required parts and labor charges at the owner's expense. Important Information regarding Gray Market Sigma Products

Courtesy Updating
In today's day and age of ever changing technology Sigma will, at our discretion, offer some updates if available to the original purchaser of the equipment at no charge. These updates are done as a courtesy and are not considered warranty repairs. The customer will be responsible for the shipping charges to and from Sigma Corporation of America and/or authorized service centers. Remember, your Sigma Product works correctly with the equipment you owned when you purchased it and is not Defective! 

Impact Damage
We do our best to repair Sigma products that have sustained damage due to impact, liquid, or other forces outside of normal use, but there is no guarantee that your item will function exactly as it did prior to damage. All service is performed using the most exacting methods, but sustained damage to equipment may prohibit return to the original condition.

AF Data Adjustment
Due to extreme sensitivity of the digital camera mirror box, it may be necessary to have your lens adjusted to your own personal camera. This is a known problem with digital cameras and many companies have included Micro Focus Adjustment capabilities on their high end cameras to address this problem with their lenses. If you are able to do this with your camera and lens combination, there's no need to send your equipment in for adjustment.
