Super high definition

Thanks to its ultra-high pixel count and SIGMA's experience in developing cameras with a Foveon sensor, the fp L is capable of creating images that are high-definition, rich in color, and noted for their exceptional resolving power and nuanced color gradients.

Crop Zoom function

This feature allows the user to easily crop and shoot images in-camera at higher magnifications without losing significant detail. This feature is available in both photo and cine modes.

Hybrid autofocus

In addition to high-precision contrast AF, the SIGMA fp L features fast image plane phase-detection AF. This hybrid AF allows users to enjoy smooth autofocus that is high-precision, fast, and excellent at tracking a moving subject, whether they are shooting stills or video.

Unlimited power supply

The SIGMA fp L supports USB charging while the camera is on. Photographers can shoot without interruption while charging the camera using a mobile battery, even outdoors or without access to a power outlet.

Save / Load settings with QR codes

Saved settings can now be saved as a QR code image, making it easy to save and load specific settings, and to share custom settings with fellow photographers and cinematographers.

Dust & splash proof with large heat sink

The camera is protected with dust and splash proof sealing on a total of 42 points over the camera body. Combined with a large magnesium heat sink that prevents overheating, the SIGMA fp L is a reliable choice, no matter the conditions.

All SIGMA's manufacturing – right down to the molds and parts – is carried out under an integrated production system, entirely in our facility in Aizu, Japan.
