Fast F2 maximum aperture
The maximum aperture of F2 provides excellent low-light performance, and creates beautiful background blur to separate subjects from the environment.
Arc-type focus mode switch
The innovative arc-type focus mode switch incorporates an intricate mechanism that results in a smooth, quiet, reassuring action, and is specifically designed for more comfortable, intuitive use.
Stylish, robust construction
Luxuriously crafted of all-metal components to guarantee durability and style, each I series lens is the true embodiment of functional beauty, with a tactile, ergonomic feel that also makes it a pleasure to use.
Magnetic metal lens cap
An included metal cap magnetically clips to the front surface of the lens with ease. This inventive and thoughtful detail adds to the sleek nature of I series lenses.
Compatible with In-Camera Aberration Correction
This function performs in-camera corrections of peripheral illumination, chromatic aberrations, distortion, and more, to further enhance image quality (available on supported cameras only).
High-precision, rugged brass bayonet mount
The brass mount combines high precision with rugged construction. Its treated surfaces and enhanced strength contribute to the exceptional durability of the lens.
Made In Japan
All SIGMA's manufacturing – right down to the molds and parts – is carried out under an integrated production system, entirely in our facility in Aizu, Japan.
For Sony & L-Mount shooters
SIGMA's DG DN lenses are made exclusively for mirrorless cameras, including Sony E-mount and L-Mount (SIGMA, Panasonic, Leica, and others) systems. These full-frame lenses are designed to take advantage of the benefits offered by mirrorless camera bodies, including more compact dimensions, in-camera corrections, and a variety of improved technologies.
The one-and-only I series
SIGMA I series lenses are premium, compact prime lenses that are both strikingly beautiful and optically impressive. With full-frame coverage, all-metal construction, exceptional autofocus performance, and gorgeous (yet functional) touches like a knurled manual aperture ring and a magnetic lens cap, I series lenses are designed to enhance both the artistic potential and the tangible experience of mirrorless photography.
Make sure you get your 4-Year Warranty
All SIGMA lenses come with a 4-Year Warranty in the US, but only if you buy from SIGMA America directly or a SIGMA Authorized Dealer. Grey market importers undercut legitimate retailers, deceive well-intentioned customers, and sell products that are ultimately not eligible for warranty service. Make sure you are buying from a trusted source so your lens is covered!
