Overview

The Sigma 24-35mm F2 DG HSM Art is the worlds first full frame F2 zoom lens. Covering a common prime lens lineup, the 24-35mm F2 DG HSM was designed for prime performance with the versatility of a zoom lens. Premium FLD glass, with performance equal to flourite, and seven SLD glass elements allow for outstanding image quality. A large diameter aspherical lens, a complicated element to manufacture, allows for a stunning level of brightness. This complicated optical formula creates outstanding image quality throughout the focal range, and even at the widest of apertures. An updated AF algorithm makes for smooth, accurate and fast autofocusing while multi layer coating control flare and ghosting. The Sigma 24-35mm F2 DG HSM Art is another notch on Sigma’s belt for pure photographic innovation.

sigma 24 35 F2
If you are reading the reviews on this lense. Then you are considering a purchase for this beast. I rented this lense from lense rentals. com I am honestly, considering adding to my
lense kit. The out of focus back ground is amazing. Why buy three primes when you can do with one lense?? I will use it for car shows, boat shows, nature, city photos. 24 is wide enough for landscapes as well. the 35mm can be used for people pictures. What more can I say images are razor sharp and crisp.. Like butter,,,, Do worry about the weight. easy to get use to it.. not that big of a deal....
Really a remarkable lense. I also have the Sigma 135 1.8 another dream lense from Sigma.
If you are not sure rent the lense before you buy it...
The Sigma 24 35 Art is on my list. as well as the Sigma 105 F 1.4 Beast..... I really love Sigma products..
The Sigma Corporation is doing a fantastic job creating wonderful products..
My Sigma 135 1.8 out performed the Canon 135 F2...

Very nice lens
Used for landscape and astro photography I'm very pleased with the performance of this lens. Star points are sharp and I see very little distortion even shooting wide open. After several months of use including a shoot in the Alabama Hills, another in Death Valley and a trip to Alaska to shoot the Auroras, I can say without question, I'd buy this lens again if I had it to do over!

Perfect for Events
I traded a 16-35 in for this lens as I wanted a lens that is wide but has less barrel distortion when photographing groups of people. I knew I needed a better lens that was meant more for events rather than architecture and landscapes. I already have the 50mm Art and coupled with the 24-35, they both cover groups very, very well.

The 24-35 now resides on the camera more than any other lens and I am incredibly happy with this purchase. The color, sharpness (man, it's really sharp), wide aperture, and quick AF make it a must-have for events and groups of people. I highly recommend this lens!

One more note- I am a Pro Canon shooter that shoots primarily sports action and events for soccer clubs as well as state Olympic Development Teams. With the addition of the 24-35, I now use Sigma lenses more often in the field than Canon L, which is saying a lot. My next two lens purchases will also be Sigma (120-300 f2.8 and the 500mm f4). The bottom line is that I trust Sigma glass to get the job done.

Best wide-standart lens
Very versatlile lens. I can take landscapes on 24 and i can use it as standard lens on 35 mm, especially in DX mode in my nikon df it becomes 52mm. it can be used for half body portrait. Best optical quality like i prime lens. I am happy.

Thanks Sigma ! You are the best !

An amazing lens
Ive been using this lens for a few months now and i can honestly say i love the sharpness and low distortion. F2 is amazing for portraits and f16 for landscapes with filters.
