The 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM Art Lens garners Best European DSLR Zoom Lens
Ronkonkoma, New York — August 15, 2016 – Sigma Corporation of America, a leading camera, DSLR lens, flash and accessories manufacturer, today announced that it was awarded the 2016-2017 European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Award for Best European DSLR Zoom Lens for its Sigma 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM Art Lens.
The annual EISA Awards honor the most innovative, cutting-edge products of the year in a number of categories. Winners are selected by specialist judging panels skilled in pinpointing the best in consumer electronics. Honorees emerge after an extensive judging process, where products are both tested at test facilities of EISA member magazines and chosen via a democratic voting process at EISA’s annual General Meeting.
“EISA is known for its rigorous testing process, and to win its Best European DSLR Zoom Lens of the year award is an exciting feat for us,” said Mark Amir-Hamzeh, president of Sigma Corporation of America. “Sigma’s aim is to always push the boundaries of what photographic equipment can achieve, and the 50-100mm F1.8 DC HSM Art Lens is a perfect example of that ambition. Designed to meet the demands of a mid-range zoom, the 50-100mm maintains a constant aperture and sharp image quality throughout, even at a F1.8 aperture. It’s a stand out product from our Global Vision Lens lineup and we are honored to have it recognized with an EISA award.”
