With an F3.5 aperture throughout the entire zoom range, the 10-20mm F3.5 is perfect for low light photography. Sigma wide angle lenses accentuate the relationship of subjects within a photo and thus become an important creative tool. This Sigma fast fixed aperture makes photography easier for the photographer who wishes to precisely control their depth of field and also for working with non TTL Flash systems. I took this picture during Canon Photo Marathon 2010 Competition in Singapore . The theme was CLARITY . To describe the feeling of clarity , i saw the beautiful garden on the roof top of the mall , and it was raining with haze in the sky , so i decided to put my eye glasses in front of the sigma lens and capture the garden . Inspiration/Description:
In a childrenes basketball court of an elementary school, a boy played basketball in the afternoon. To take a photograph of the low basketball hoop from the bottom, I knelt to the ground and pointed the camera to the basketball hoop. It was troublesome to move from kneeling on the ground. Regulating the moderate focus distance with the wide-angle lens zoom, I made the shutter speed slow and was able to capture the movement of the basketball well. The child-size basketball hoop did not have a net, but the photograph came out that felt like the size was about the same as a basket goal for adults. Blue sky, white backboard, red ball, all which came out colorful.
