Sigma Electronic Flashes
A Large Amount of Light at Your Disposal, Whenever
You Need It.
|
Without light, there can be no conventional
photography. When there is insufficient or
unsuitable light available to take a picture,
it becomes of paramount importance to have
a ready source of supplementary light to fulfill
the need. Sigma has made available portable
electronic flash units, for this purpose,
for many years. The latest models of Sigma
EF series flash units provide large quantities
of light under the complete control of the
photographer and his camera (Canon, Minolta,
Nikon, Pentax or Sigma). They all feature
high Guide Numbers and full TTL exposure automation,
with simple operation. They are among the
most powerful shoe-mount type flash units
available. Each is custom-designed and manufactured
to compliment the capabilities of the 35mm
SLR camera and Digital camera system, for
which it is intended.

There are two models available in each series;
the standard (ST) models, featuring full exposure
automation, full auto-zoom function and ease of
operation, and the Super models, having the same
power and automation, but with more user control,
and adding many extra, creative functions, including
the very latest technology and features, such as
Wireless TTL Exposure control, High Speed (FP) synchronization,
Distance information functions, Modeling Light,
Slave functions and more; each complimenting the
capabilities of the 35mm SLR camera and Digital
cameras to which they are dedicated. And, they are
still easy to operate, with full information displays
and intuitive controls.
Like Sigma's lenses, the latest and most sophisticated
Sigma flash, the EF500 DG Super, incorporates the
latest features and technological advances, not
found on any other flash units, save those from
the major camera makers themselves. They are the
most completely dedicated flash units for the 35mm
SLR camera and Digital camera photography available.
