Sigma Corporation of America is pleased to announce a new photo contest, open to all users of Sigma lenses or SLR cameras.

The theme for this contest will be "What America Means to Me". The entry deadline has now been extended to January 31, 2009.

First prize: Sigma SD14 14MP digital SLR camera with 50mm F1.4 EX DG lens, featuring the 14MP Foveon direct image sensor and simple versatile features and controls, plus the new top performing Sigma 50mm F1.4 EX DG lens.

Second Prize: Sigma’s new 150-500mm F5-6.3 EX DG OS* zoom lens. This ultra-telephoto zoom features Sigma Optical Stabilization mechanism, plus full Apochromatic design, Special Low Dispersion glass and Aspherical elements for high optical performance, plus HSM AF drive for quiet fast AF function and full-time manual focus. It is compatible with Sigma EX DG teleconverters.

Third Prize: Sigma’s new 120-400mm F4.5-5.6 DG OS* zoom lens, featuring full Apochromatic design, Special Low Dispersion glass, Aspherical elements and Sigma’s proprietary Optical Stabilization system, to help assure optimum image quality. It also features HSM AF drive and Sigma EX DG teleconverter compatibility.
