Adler, a New York City-based fashion photographer whose editorial images are regularly published in international magazines, said she was inspired to write her book based on her experiences as both a professional fashion photographer and a wedding photographer.
“While running a studio in upstate New York, I was also working as a fashion photographer in the city,” Adler said. “I quickly realized how my experiences as a fashion photographer heavily influenced and improved my portrait work. I wanted to share my knowledge, tips and tricks with other photographers seeking to make their work stand out. Differentiation is difficult, and I hope this book helps photographers find a way to make their images even more unique.”
The book explains the process of creating a fashion shoot and then interprets how these same processes can be utilized by any professional or aspiring professional photographer.
